Resilient Flooring Industrial Framework

Terms of Manufacturing & Supply

Standard regulatory conditions governing contract flooring extrusion, custom film lamination, click-system profiling, and global wholesale project logistics.

Document Ref: JCM-FLR-2026-V1 | Effective Date: June 2026

1. Color, Decor Customization & Pattern Sampling

For all bespoke flooring projects (Rigid Core SPC, LVT, Homogeneous Sheet) involving custom wear layers, film rotogravure lamination, or specialized geometric configurations (such as Left/Right balanced Chevron patterns):

  • Film & Cylinder Tooling: Custom print-film engraving cylinder setup fees must be remitted at 100% upfront prior to test-run calibration. These specialized embossing plates remain architectural property of our manufacturing facility.
  • Batch Sample Approval: Full mass lamination and profiling will only proceed upon formal written or digital signature confirmation of a full-scale swatch panel showing intended register embossing (EIR) or texture gloss levels.
  • Chevron & Loose Lay Balance: Orders for precision alignment profiles (Chevron/Herringbone) are engineered to exact equal packaging ratios of Type-A and Type-B clicking profiles. Any modifications to site balance requirements must be communicated 20 days prior to slot milling.

2. Manufacturing Dimensional & Interlocking Tolerances

All multi-layer vinyl extrusions, rigid core formulations, and flooring accessories are manufactured subject to EN, ISO, and ASTM standard tolerance parameters. Quality assessments are governed by the following operational limits:

Flooring Metric Reference Standard Allowable Factory Tolerance Limit
Total Thickness (SPC Core + Pad)ISO 24337 / ASTM F386± 0.15 mm nominal bound
Wear Layer Caliper ThicknessASTM F410± 0.05 mm structural target
Click-System Profile Gap JointISO 24334 Joint Opening≤ 0.15 mm width separation
Squareness & Straightness DeviationEN 427 / ISO 24342≤ 0.25 mm maximum variance
Color Deviation (Batch to Batch)CIELAB SpectrometerDelta E (ΔE*ab) ≤ 0.80

*Note: Micro-tonal shade deviations occurring naturally across different print-film print runs or secondary underlayment compression ranges within the stated borders are industry acceptable variations.

3. Shipping, Heavy Freight Allocations & Export Packaging

Due to the high density and physical weight of mineral-polymer composite payloads (SPC) and commercial homogenous flooring rolls, logistics setups are bound by standard ICC Incoterms 2020 definitions:

  • Shipping Protocol: Wholesale quantities default to FOB Main Ports or CIF Destination Ports. The freight-forwarding weight limitations must strictly align with localized destination container weight limits.
  • Heavy-Duty Packing Specifications: Planks and sheets are bundled within moisture-barrier protective film, secured inside reinforced corrugated cartons, and stabilized on heat-treated ISPM-15 export wooden pallets wrapped with multi-ply edge-guards.
  • On-Site Receipt Inspection: Sub-contractors or logistics clearing agents are required to document pallet strapping integrity and core moisture protection seals instantly upon custom container unstuffing. Damage claims for edge-chipping must be filed with shipping line validation within 7 working days.

4. Commercial Wear Warranty & Defects Liability Protocol

We supply performance-backed engineering validation for resilient flooring deployments across commercial healthcare, hospitality, and residential development projects:

Products feature a standard 10-Year to 15-Year Commercial Structural Wear Warranty covering localized wear-through of the protective transparent wear layer, core delamination, and comprehensive interlocking system disintegration under designated traffic levels.

Warranty enforcement requires strict adherence to the following building parameters:

  • Subfloor Testing Pre-requisites: Structural warranties are invalidated if flooring installation occurs over uneven screeds exceeding 2mm flatness variations over a 2-meter radius, subfloors with active vapor emissions (>3lb/1000sqft/24h), or subfloors lacking proper perimeter expansion joints.
  • Defects Supply Scope: Our liability under project Defects Liability Periods (DLP) is strictly limited to providing replacement material components FOB/EXW. The manufacturing facility assumes no financial responsibility for local installer labor fees, layout tearing costs, or project delay operational losses.

5. Dispute Resolution, Technical Governance & Force Majeure

Any engineering, aesthetic, or mechanical performance disagreement arising during global contract fulfillment will follow a structural resolution track:

  • Independent Laboratory Testing: Material content disputes (such as stone powder ratio, plasticizer stabilization, or VOC emissions) shall be submitted to certified international inspection counters (e.g., SGS, Intertek, or TÜV Rheinland) to separate raw batch anomalies from improper building maintenance or micro-climate exposure.
  • Force Majeure Dynamic Extensions: Production timelines are extended without liquidated damage exposures during macro events including raw polymer resin allocation shortages, maritime container/space shortfalls, power grid balancing limits, or global trade compliance adaptations.

Require Project-Specific Performance Bonds or Wear Extensions?

Certain heavy commercial tenders, airport lounges, or public health infrastructure projects require extended 20-year coverage, custom wear layers, or specialized flame-retardant certification alignments. Contact our trade compliance managers.
